Based on the work of Steve Jablonsky, here in Digil we made a metal version of the score "Arrival to Earth". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1qDzSStgy0 It was a very nice project to do, once we explore the original guidelines and converted the orchestral score arrangements for guitar, bass, drums and synthesizers. The initial idea was just to do a cover for David Leite containing the lead parts, but the end result turned out to be something else :) Guitars by David Leite Bass, drums & synthesizers by Gil Ramos If you like our videos please subscribe! http://www.youtube.com/digilmusic Visit our facebook page here. This is a drum cover by José Almeida, who is learning the drums at Digil Music - Vale de Cambra. He wants to make a drum cover video series of his favourite artists and he thought that this A7X - "So far away"should be perfect to start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_JAcAlcvtU This song was the 3rd single from the album Nightmare. The guitarist Synyster Gates wrote this very simple song after the band´s drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan was found dead on 28 December 2009. It was Synyster way of saying goodbye to his bandmate and friend. This was the first time Synyster Gates created both lyrics and orchestration for Avenged Sevenfold. Former Dream Theater Mike Portnoy was invited to record the drum parts and tour to promote the album. Among others, Jimmy Sullivan joins John Bonham…

Review by Gil Ramos (Musician & Composer) The loop pedals have been consistently gaining ground in recent years. Its meteoric rise has benefited and monitored in parallel the evolution of solid-state memory devices, which are integrated in one way or another with the latest looper devices. Despite the numerous benefits to the musician, the loopers in general have a relatively long learning curve, not being properly the easiest devices to use in our setup.Devices like the Boss RC-300 Loop Stationcan easily discourage a less seasoned musician in the sound effects area. Based on the concept of simplicity, TC Electronic has developed Ditto Looper. A pedal without non-essential characteristics. With "plug and loop" concept, the device has only one LED, one footswtich and a loop level pot. It has 9.2 cm…
